First camp: 9am to 12noon. June 13 Monday through June 17 Friday
Second camp: 9am to 12noon. July 18 Monday through July 22 Friday

Each participant will be taking home the chess set shown below.
DIPLOMAS for graduating into another level of Chess are awarded.
There will be other prizes as well.
Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters. The JIM MOYER CHESS CAMP is here again in its 10th year. Discovery Museum. 9am to 12noon.

If new to the game, the first magic trick you will learn is the 2 move checkmate, then the 4 move checkmate and then the coup de grace you will never forget, the dance of your King and Rook pushing the enemy King to its demise.
Then on to a standard French Defense that can surprise you.
If an old pro, you will see an interesting variation of the Sicilian Defense.
