Washington's boot camp was Winchester Va where he and his men were heavily criticized in the Virginia Gazette. Everything he saw later, he saw here first.
.
For Washington much of what he saw in the REV War he already saw in the French and Indian War of his headquarters in Winchester.
.
So fast forward back to the future.
Washington's entire 2nd term was in Philly.
.
He was the first President under the new US Constitution 1788.
.
There were 10 Presidents before him under the Articles of Confederation.
.
20 April 1789 to 4 March 1797 is the 8 year period of George Washington's Presidency.
.
By the summer of 1794 in his 2nd term, IMPEACHMENT looks possible.
.
.
Much of the nation was incensed by his endorsing the Jay Treaty.
.
.
" . . . some wanted Washington impeached. Cartoons showed the President being marched to a guillotine. Even in the President’s beloved Virginia, Revolutionary veterans raised glasses and cried, “The A speedy Death to General Washington."
.The cry against the Treaty is like that against a mad dog,” complained Washington.
"Reeling from the blows, the sixty-three-year-old Washington wrote that the "infamous scribblers" were calling him “ "a common pickpocket" in"such exaggerated and indecent terms as could scarcely be applied to a Nero".
.
He wrote that right there on 190 High Street, Philly.
.
"In the spring of 1795, Washington received copies of the treaty at the President’s House at 190 High Street in Philadelphia . . "
.
But High Street became known as Market Street.
Randolph accused Washington of having “the profound hypocrisy of a Tiberius and the injustice of an assassin.”
Edmund Randolph was the Attorney General in George Washington's cabinet.

More on Jay Treaty
It gave me infinite concern to hear by several letters that the Assembly are incensed against the Virginia Regiment; and think they have cause to accuse the Officers of all inordinate vices; but more especially of drunkenness and profanity!
What the President's House in Philadelphia looks like now:
.
.
President's House 190 High Street
.
.
High Street
was often called Market Street, just like in Winchester VA, Cameron Street was called Market Street, until 1926 when it official reverted back to Camerson Street.
.
Market Street
was initially called High Street when William Penn and Thomas Holme laid out the plan for Philadelphia in 1682. It became known colloquially as Market Street after the High Street Market opened in 1745. It officially became Market Street 1858.
