From Matthew Brenckle 28 m · "I don't know that this drawing has much to tell us about 1740s clothing, but I think a picture of future King George III building a fort with chairs and blankets is something we all need to see. According to the inscription (and the sleuthing of the Royal Collection curators), this was taken from life on Monday, July 6, 1747 when he was nine years old.
